Urban Grit: One Morning in Chicago


This goes back to the days of innocence, when I was still in my corporate role.

I had flown 36 hours from Shanghai to San Juan, for a 48 hour conference. I thought about the irony – 72 hours of flying for 48 hours of blah.

So, I stayed back in San Juan for a day, and in Chicago for a weekend. This was my first trip to Chicago, and I decided that I liked the city

    1. No, never… I must confess that I am curious about what scenic stuff exists in Canada. I have never really studied the country, even though an old friend of mine, plus some cousins (of sorts) live there
