I discovered, through his obituary in The Economist, that Ken Dodd had died. For me, a great tragedy, in a way. He was a true British comic, and a marvellous singer.
When I was living in England (just outside London) as a kid, I loved his song called “Happiness”, and when I discovered that he had died, I also realised that, maybe, subconsciously, this song has had a great impact on me, and helped me in shaping my own attitude towards life.
So, RIP, Ken.
This is the song. Listen to it very carefully, and you will discover some simple and deep wisdom in it
May he RIP. I like the interview of Ken with the Beetles https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VgiiSfrf3So
