It’s been a while since I was on WordPress, and I need to see how I can get back to a routine where I post a couple of times a week, and get to read everyone’s posts.
I took up this old shot, or series of shots of Kalinjar Fort. This time, I blended the three exposures in Photoshop.
Then, I did a few adjustments using luminosity masks.
To brighten up the foliage, I used the sponge tool. This is a very interesting tool, but one that has to be used sparingly.
Then, I added a few layers of colour dodging.
Finally, I used a tool that I had never used before – the perspective warp. I will need to practise this one quite a bit.
I also used the free transform to end it.
Yes, I also created my own Orton layer, to give it that slightly dreamy look..
So, there it is!
No presets
It was a huge file that I had, so I saved it as a .psb and not a .psd
It almost has a surreal feel to it. Well done, Rajiv.
