This young gent, from Aligarh in India, had this little stall at the Hauz Qazi area in the Walled City of Delhi
I have not seen him for a while.

what a wonderful smile that one! so genuine!
It is…
I hope he is well.
I hope so too. I used to chat with him when I would go off to shoot in that area, and I have not seen him in a while. I had taken a print of his photo to give to him as well
That is so nice of you.
Ah, well!
I wish I knew his story – about his wife, his music, the home he went back to. Those eyes hold volumes.
Yes…. It’s always in the eyes.. Interesting you should say that, because I have a post scheduled on Friday, where I ask the reader to specifically look into the eyes..
Haha! Sounds wonderful. I shall look forward to this.
He looks proud of his wares. I bet those food items are delicious.

They are, actually, very nice
You can tell. He probably eats them too.

I think so…
Wonderful colours .. And smile. Hope you find him to give him the photo
Someday, I am sure I will..
would he have returned home? Is the stall still there? Could he have moved on but selling elsewhere…
Maybe he is selling elsewhere.. Sometimes they return home for months
…and then the rains come 🙂
That’s when they stay there 🙂
He has an innocent smile 🙂 btw I wish I could have those pani puris ! They are my favourites.!But we don’t get them much here, in Kerala.
I have not been to Kerala for many years, you know
Really?Are you a Malayali then? 😮
Heh! Very proud Punjabi!
