I am experimenting a bit with DXO Film Pack, and I confess that I absolutely love it!
For this week, I used the Adox CMS 20 film filter. It is essentially an ISO 20 film that can be processed in a range of ISO 3 to 80. In India, we get nothing less than ISO 100. We used to get 50, which I have used.
I used this to create an entirely different effect….. Bright. Strong…
I also added a border, to contain the brightness and to tighten it a bit
It’s very contrasts and works well with this simple clean uncluttered image
Thanks… I kind of like this one as wellllll
I love this image … 😀
Glad you like it
I think the monochrome feels right with this image. Very nice.
Thanks. I returned to this one several times before i finally chose it. I first went, “Hmmph”. Then, I went ‘Hmm”, and then it started to grow on me
Nice work! So, did you make the bottom of the vase looks like a section of the anatomy deliberately or not?
No, that came about by it’s own volition
I really like this one. The starkness of the black and white image works really well with the theme of death and decay brought about through the content. 🙂
Thanks… Oddly, I am seriously thinking of the Death concept these days.
great contrast here
Thanks.. Glad you like it..
Love this mono for this image. The contrasty feel and shadow play is great!
I’ve enjoyed your dead roses this past month 🙂
There is one more treatment to the roses, which you will see at the end of the month!
Awesome, I’ll forward to it 🙂
I really like this contrasts BW and love the glowiness of the vase. Sounds like you’re really enjoying the filter pack!
On this one, I used no filter. De-saturation, selective re-saturation, two curves, and then I added in the texture of a tree. The tree is what you see on the vase!
Really great creative process!!
