For this week’s edition, I built upon the work I did last week. I left the few stars that I had in the trees, and converted the image to black and white using Nik’s Silver Efex Pro.
I am naturally drawn to darker tones. However, I decided to go for something very bright and high key. I thought that, without actually doing it in the dark room, the high tone effect would add a silvery effect to the picture.
Something gentle?
I like the nearly misty effect this produces… like a winter day…
Thank you very much. I was hoping for something wintery, almost ethereal
Interesting! Almost ethereal 🙂 🙂
Thank ye! I have done the last edit as well, which I will post on Sunday. Or Saturday.
I think you achieved both! A very wintery ethereal feel.. Beautiful subtlety with a touch of mystery 😃
Thank you! I did do my Week 4 work already.. I may post it on Saturday, since I will be travelling from Sunday
Thats fine Raj.. whatever works best for you. Safe trip 😃
I like the darker one myself, but thats a personal think, I find Im not usually a fan of the high key stuff 🙂
I love the misty look as though the snow is shaken in the branches!!
Lots of interest here! I like the silvery effect!
Lovely edit. It look’s really wintry. 🙂
Yeah, it was indeed. But, not snowing
Winter magic, I like it.
