I have resumed shooting in black & white film after ages. It is fun, I must say. The art of seeing in B&W is quite different from the art of seeing in colour. It is also quite different from shooting in colour and converting to B&W.
I did consider cropping off the chaps at the bottom, but I decided not to decapitate him!
And, I must dedicate this post to the estimable Mr Ed Mooney, who inspired me to start shooting with B&W film again. Cheers!
What a great shot! Good on you for shooting in film .. 😊
I love film… You photograph very well. Try film one day
Oh boy, I don’t think I’m up to it. I have so much to learn. I’m at the crawling stage now and loving it. Appreciate your comment Rajiv!
Superb! I’, so glad you left the people in the shot~I usually crop savagely but I rather like the juxtaposition of magnificent stonework and ordinary people. It is a powerful photo.
Thank you! I was sorely tempted to crop them out..
brilliance!
Oh, thank ye, kindly!
